Adjudicator List

This is an option for teachers who would be available to adjudicate. It is entirely possible that we have members who really would like to try their hand at adjudicating but are reluctant to just “hang out a shingle” because they have little or no experience.

BCRMTA Multi - discipline Competition 2026

    1. The competition will be held in even numbered years in combination with the Semi-Annual meeting of BCRMTA Provincial Council.
    2. Branches are responsible for selecting up to two contestants.  (A previous first-prize winner of the BC Piano Competition is not eligible to enter).

BCRMTA Junior Piano Competition 2026

The 1st BC Junior Piano Competition to be held in September 2026 in conjunction with the BC Piano and Multi-discipline Competition.  

Canada Music Week

Canada Music Week celebrations take place in the third week of November, which includes November 22, the day honouring St. Cecilia, patron Saint of Music.

Heritage Fund

The project for 2025/2026 is a Branch Continuing Education Project.
This project will assist branches at the local level to conduct continuing education events/workshops/masterclasses for their membership and community.

Professional Development Bursary/Grant

A Professional Development Bursary/Grant is available to assist branches with less than 40 members to conduct ongoing professional development. This fund is for programs that benefit the branch - masterclasses, workshops, clinicians, videos etc.

Young Artisit Tour
