Membership Categories
  • BCRMTA Registered Music Teacher (RMT) member - lives within 80 km of an established branch.
    • Provincial BCRMTA (RMT) member – lives more than 80 from a branch.
    • International BCRMTA (RMT) member – lives outside of Canada and is a Canadian citizen or has Permanent Resident status.
    • Multijurisdictional BCRMTA (RMT) member – belongs to more than one provincial/territorial RMT association.
  • Affiliate Music Teacher (AMT) member - more information coming soon
  • Student Teacher Auxiliary (STA) – member who is working on completing the requirements for membership with a current RMT.

All RMT / AMT members are listed on the BCRMTA website with their name and contact information of their choosing: phone number, email address, and/or personal website.

    • The VSO Teacher Ticket Pass gives certified BC Teachers up to two tickets at $25 each to select regular season concerts. Please note that some exceptions may apply, and that there may be limited numbers of Teacher Tickets available.
    • To access the VSO Teacher Ticket Pass offer, contact our Customer Service Representatives at 604-876-3434 or customerservice@vancouversymphony.ca.
    • Please bring a valid BCRMTA teaching ID when picking up tickets.
    • Teacher Ticket Pass tickets become available two weeks prior to each eligible concert
