The charter meeting of the Trail Branch of the BCRMTA was held in September 1944, with Edith Anthony as president. Currently there are teachers of various disciplines (piano, voice, and strings), teaching from the Trail/Warfield, Rossland, Fruitvale, and Castlegar areas.
Regular branch activities include recitals scheduled throughout the year, and other special events and workshops. Awards for students who excel in both theory and performance are presented annually at the Canada Music Week recital.
Meetings are scheduled on a regular basis.
