Each piece was followed by insightful feedback from the performers and esteemed composer mentor <strong>Elizabeth Knudson<\/strong>, offering each student a valuable and personal learning experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Featured Composers &amp; Works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nathan Syyong \u2013 <em>Sonatina in D Major<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Jakob Constible \u2013 <em>A Day at the Beach<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Derek Lowe \u2013 <em>Impromptu-Romanze for Cello and Piano<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Cristen Bao Sicoli \u2013 <em>The Ship That Sails the World<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Paolo Roland Self \u2013 <em>The Inside Passage<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Bodi Minardi \u2013 <em>Tableau<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This special event was thoughtfully organized by club chair <strong>Kathleen Feenstra<\/strong>, with the generous support of <strong>Pam Smirl<\/strong> and <strong>Mark Johnson<\/strong> (club co-hosts), in partnership with <strong>Sean Bickerton<\/strong> and the Canadian Music Centre.<\/p>\n<p>Bravo to all the composers for your creativity and courage in sharing your music with us!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pgc-1939-0-2\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell panel-grid-cell-empty\" ><\/div><\/div><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Celebrating Creativity and Collaboration!
